Hideaway
Oh hello there. It’s been awhile.
I’m sure each of you were anxiously awaiting my next museletter, so I thought I would put you out of your misery and give the people what they want. I also know we have one of those friendships- you know, pick up exactly where we left off kind of deal.
So….where did we leave off? Wait, what day is it?
Here’s a little update from my end since the last time I aMUSEd you….
May
It’s been SUCH a gift to work with Ginni Media these past few months, not only have they elevated the podcast with great artwork and a new format, they are producing (and killing it) with all those REELS that I’ve been avoiding the past few years.
We spent May all getting to know each other, making sure the team thought I was funny enough, and discussing how to blow this sh*t up.
We finally had a chance to meet in person when I convinced them to meet me in CT to hang out with Hasan Minhaj and Sheetal Sheth.
I may have forced that hug. Please don’t leave me Ginni Media.
June
I had the pleasure of attending The Indian American Impact Summit and Gala in DC a few weeks ago…and let me tell you, it was absolutely fantastic. Loved meeting so many South Asian powerhouses and celebrating the amazing contributions our community is making in our country.
Moderating our panel- Breaking The Mold, Raising Our Voices In Media- was a little too fun. We definitely paneled hard... and didn't want to stop. A shoutout to Nick Rathod, Swati Sharma, Opal Vadhan, and Nardeep Khurmi for dealing with all my emails and agreeing to go on tour.
Congrats to Indian American Impact on hosting a day full of celebration and hope! I was so honored to be a small part of it.
We’re going on tour, 2024…
I may have mixed these two up when I thought I asked Nick how many shots he wanted to take before the event started...Cory Booker turns around and said, “5 sounds good”. DOH.
Between two Judges….TEXXAAASSSSSSSS!!!!!
I was completely blown away by the first-ever Global Podcast Summit last week, hosted by Sonoro Global Media Corp. in partnership with The Podcast Academy!
From our panel discussing Deal or No Deal, navigating the world of international podcast deals in an evolving market to watching my fellow Board Of Governors from The Podcast Academy discuss Launching a Hit, the two days were full of fantastic content, people and AMAZING dinners.
CDMX, you never disappoint.
It was so refreshing to meet podcast industry professionals from around the globe and hear about their podcasting journeys. As someone who interviews the South Asian diaspora around the world, I cannot tell you how important this summit is.
Thank you to Alexandra Gonzalez and Joshua Weinstein for your support and including me in this event, I can't wait till next year.
And who knows, maybe it will be India 2024 ;)

Pride Month
The rest of this month is going to be include a little bit of unplugging. As many interviews as I want to jump on, events I want to fly to, fireside chats I have planned, my brain needs a little break this summer before I start ulti-ing (sp?) a bunch of content out…
We are also in phase DEUX of our Dallas move…which yes, started last summer…we just decided to take a 8-month break because you know, sanity.
That being said, I would be remiss if I didn’t honor Pride Month with some amazing flashback interviews, all coming out this week- shoutout and hugs to Parag Mehta, Ginni Saraswati, Maneesh Goyal and Zameer Kassam.
I couldn’t think of a more perfect song for this month…and of course, a paage laag to the two best artists ever to exist.
Cheers to my Erasure.
